Jetpack:
To start I had to insert the reference images into the correct windows by pressing the "d" key with brings up the display options, you then go to background and put the correct images where you want them. I put the front view in the top left by ensuring that window was the one selects and then loaded the correct image in. If it wasn't centered or in the correct position then you could move it using the sliders below to change its position until you were happy with it.
This is the only thing that I did for the jetpack, I'm certainly not proud of myself but I just personally found it incredibly difficult to do this task as I wasn't sure how to create any of the odd shapes which is why I only did one engine. To do this I simply made a small circle, pressed "space" until I was on the polygon tool, selected the circle, next I pressed "b" for the bevel tool and beveled the shape until it matched the image (right clicking to stop and start again). I could have tried more to create the over shapes and I did but just Isn't my strongest skill, also I could have mirrored the one engine on the X axis so that I had two of them.
